Anna Maria Bigelow

Tuesday -- On account of the funeral of Mrs. Perkins Bigelow, Memorial Library will be closed Wednesday afternoon.  Mrs. Bigelow was one of the trustees of the library and was one of the founders of the institution.

Mrs. Perkins Bigelow died at Marion Monday night at 10 o'clock.  The remains were brought to the residence of L.O. Thompson, 106 Park Avenue West.  The funeral services were held at  Grace Episcopal Church, Wednesday afternoon, at 4 o'clock.  The burial was private.

Anna Maria Bigelow at the time of her death was aged about 72 years.  She was the wife of Perkins Bigelow, a well-known citizen of this city, whose death occurred several years ago.  In company with her husband, she came to this city from Newark in 1847, and resided here continuously until her death.  She had been identified with the Episcopal church during her entire life.  She leaves two children who will mourn a kind and loving mother.  They are Mrs. Noble of Akron and Nathan P. Bigelow of this city.

Three years ago Monday night, Perkins Bigelow died.  The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon, July 28.  The death of Mrs. Bigelow occurred on the same date at nearly the same hour.  The funeral services were held at the same hour.
